Partner With Us

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Crisis Centre of BC. We value the commitment of individuals, organizations, and communities who share our vision of compassion, connection, and systemic change in how metal health crisis and suicide are understood and addressed.

Because we receive many inquiries, we want to be clear about where partnership is possible, and where it is not, so your request reaches the right place.

Where We Do Partner

We are keen to connect with organizations and initiatives that:

  • Share a systems-change vision for crisis response in British Columbia, particularly in areas such as:
    • 911 Diversion to Crisis Lines – making crisis lines the fourth option on the BC 911 network
    • Centralized Crisis Intake through 310-6789
    • Triage for Mobile Crisis Teams via 310-6789
  • We are also keen to explore opportunities for collaboration on our future building project along the Broadway Corridor, as the Centre expands its physical footprint.
  • Research matters a great deal in our work, and if you are involved in a university-based or professional-based (and approved) research project that you think we can share or participate in, please let us know.

Looking for Training or Programs?

Sometimes organizations and communities reach out here because they are interested in our community learning and engagement programming rather than partnership. If that’s you, please know that we offer a range of workshops and training, including:

Where We Cannot Partner

To respect our resources and focus, we do not unusually consider requests that involve:

  • Promotion of external services, products, or general programs
  • Student practicums, internships, or placement opportunities

Thank You

We deeply appreciate the many individuals and organizations who wish to collaborate with us. While we cannot accept every request, we are committed to building partnerships that align with our mission and strengthen a compassionate crisis care continuum in BC.

Our Impact The topic and word "suicide" is not so scary after taking a training from the Crisis Centre of BC. I'm grateful to have been here today, and am hopeful that I can help people in the future. safeTALK participant, Agassiz
