Secondary School Workshops
About our Wellness Workshops for Youth:
- Work Your Mind Muscle: Mindfulness-Based Stress Management and Reaching Out: Suicide Awareness & Response
- Free of charge for youth in grades 8 to 12 in Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, West Vancouver and communities along the Sea to Sky Corridor;
- 60 to 90 minutes each (1 class period);
- For groups of 5 to 30 youth;
- Interactive & dynamic format: combining experiential, dialogic and hands-on learning;
- Responsive & evolving: workshops updated based on participant feedback and best-practice literature;
- Facilitated by trained Volunteer Youth Educators.
