Suicide PIP Report Released
December 09th, 2009The summary report and full report of the Suicide Prevention Intervention and Postvention (PIP) Initiative for BC are now available and can be viewed online.
The Suicide PIP Initiative for BC was hosted by the Crisis Centre. It will be a key resource and planning tool for strategic and program planning. Research evidence, practice evidence and stakeholder engagement were used to determine six priority areas in addressing suicide and how they might be applied in local, regional and provincial contexts.
The project was funded by BC Mental Health and Addictions Services (an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority); the BC Ministry for Children and Family Development; and the Fraser Health Authority.
