Tribute Giving

A Donation to the Crisis Centre is a meaningful way to pay tribute to someone special. Please consider making a tribute gift to remember a loved one or to celebrate a joyful event.

In Memoriam Gift

Memorial donations are a significant way for you to remember someone special and to tell others how much this person meant to you.

You can make a donation in memory of a loved one online or mail your gift to:

Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC
763 East Broadway
Vancouver, BC V5T 1X8

Please use this form to include the name of the honouree, and the contact information for their family if you would like us to send a letter to them in acknowledgment of your special gift.

Families may also consider asking for donations to the Crisis Centre in lieu of flowers upon the passing of a loved one.

Bereavement Resources
No two people mourn in the same way, and for each person the process is complex and unpredictable. Crisis Centre volunteers can help by providing support and information, through the 24/7 Distress Line and online youth support services.

If you need additional support, please consider some of these resources:

Griefworks BC facilitates access to bereavement support when and where it is needed.

The BC Bereavement Helpline is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the healthy and wholesome recovery of individuals experiencing grief.

In Celebration Gift

Celebrate your wedding, birthday, graduation, anniversary or other special occasion by asking friends and family for donations to the Crisis Centre in lieu of presents. You can also make a donation in lieu of favours to honour your guests for your special day.

A card recognizing the gift will be sent to the recipient of the In Celebration gift. As well, they will receive a one-year subscription to the Crisis Centre’s newsletter, Open Lines.
