In-Kind Gifts

The Crisis Centre welcomes your donation of new and used items for our dedicated volunteers and staff.

• Overhead projector – for training and workshops
• Computers – new or gently used Windows XP computers to replace some of our very old, slow ones for volunteers and staff. Laptops are highly desired!
• TTY Machine – To replace our current aging model and facilitate conversations with the deaf and hard of hearing.
• Futon Covers – For the current futon in our phone room. Having several covers would allow us to rotate off the futon for regular washing.
• Quality Office Chairs (12) – for Distress Services volunteers spend many hours sitting in our phone room’s office chairs helping callers in crisis.
• Love Seat, Easy Chair & Ottoman – for Distress Services volunteers needing a break between calls.
• Refrigerator – To replace our old one.
• Espresso Machine and Coffee Grinder – A nice-to-have item for thirsty volunteers working around the clock.
• SLR digital camera or on-call photographer with equipment to take high quality photos of volunteers, board members and Crisis Centre supporters at volunteer fairs and awareness events.
